What I'm playing now, MMO-wise.

Miramagia, which is non-violent and community building. I miss being able to explore like we did in Glitch, but it's not bad. It's kind of like Farmville with spells and dragons (and less calls for "I need resource x!"). It's a freemium game, with the currency (rubies) being used to either get seven-day subscriptions or other things like clothes. You can get small amounts of rubies by playing, but obviously it's faster to pay money.

There are some annoying things, like the fact that you can't change your avatar much (yet). Hairstyles only last a day or two, and costumes are expensive as heck. Oh, and if you try to log into the wrong server, you get a message that you don't exist. (For example, the U.S. server ends in .us, and if you try to log into .com, it doesn't work.) You kind of also need to have an active village. Right now, there are two of us active in mine.

I'm still on the tutorial thing (I've only been playing about 24 hours), but so far I like it. If you're interested, check out the main website and be sure to choose a local server. If you're on the U.S. server, I'm Ravenhide, and I'm in West Courtcreek, Valley of Spring.
