A bit of new gaming
Nov. 21st, 2015 01:01 pmI got Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir for $12. I've gotten through the prologue so far.
So far, it's safe to say this is a Fatal Frame game. It's not as spooky (or to some extent, gory) as the main series so far, but I did have a bit of a jump scare when my companion in the game showed up on my floor.
The game relies a lot on AR and moving your DS around. On one hand, it's kind of neat because you can look at the hallway. On the other, sometimes it's not too precise - it has me looking for the cause of a sound, and the first time, even though I could see the cause, it didn't register. Also, the AR sequences rely a lot on being able to line the inner and outer circles, something I'm not very good at. That being said, I'm enjoying it so far and can't wait to see how they implement ghost battles
This is supposed to be a short game, which is good because I'd like to write fanfic for it more than anything, and there are an understandable lack of let's plays on Youtube.
