Mostly spoiler-free review of Detective Pikachu

It was a good movie. Not the best movie ever, but still, I enjoyed it!
( Hopefully I don't slip too many spoilers in here, but I do reference various trailers )

I have a feeling that I'm going to be writing a bit of fic for this, starting with the fic Little Bits and Pieces, which contains spoilers for something in the second half of the film.
