I'm sure people have considered it (or maybe even tried), but Takatora is a massive blind spot for Micchy, and the fact that he's primed to consider him a hallucination probably helps a lot. I'd expect that Kouta (and maybe other Gaim members) are better at catching him off guard but not enough to catch him. The Overlord form probably makes him a stronger swimmer than anyone who'd try to catch him anyway.
