Untitled fic, Kamen Rider Gaim
Nov. 4th, 2014 07:56 amApparently I cannot stop writing even in the middle of Yuletide and I'm only a third of the way through my assignment. Kamen Rider Gaim, Smoothing Skirts universe, because I was canon reviewing and started to review the wrong canon.
She'd overslept somehow. Michi woke up with a start, staring at her alarm. Even with her brother taking her out of school, she was still due to be at Yggdrasill with her brother.
As she flailed around, she realized there was a note on her bedside table. It was in her brother's neat, precise handwriting. "One of the other doctors suggested that you should probably stay down and rest for the next three days while your bruises heal. I decided to go with the more conservative diagnosis. Rest as much as possible, I'll have someone bring you your meals if they can wake you up."
She glared at the words, both at the implication that she was a heavy sleeper, and that she needed to be down that long. She supposed that since the medical order was from what was presumably a Yggdrasill doctor, she couldn't actually start at the company until she was cleared. It was annoying, though, because she had made plans to find out as much as she could in order to help her teammates, and this was making it hard. At least the others would be easy to fool about her sudden, temporary departure from Gaim.
The most annoying thing was that Takatora would, in his own way, make sure that she followed doctor's orders. He might not have been there - he never was - but she had no doubts he was getting reports. And she, the good, fairly obedient Kureshima sibling could do nothing to ruin her plans. Even if it meant doing nothing for three days.
She sighed, and looked for something to read to pass the time. This was going to take forever.
