Which Kiva muses are giving you trouble?

I've got 1/4 fangire Koutarou and his pseudo great uncle, where I need Song and Michi (or kureshima Kouta).

I'm sure that pseudo great-uncle is displeased with the distinction and rejects the idea that it might make any kind of difference in their relationship. It wouldn't necessarily, but I think it would in their case.

Well, Taiga and Michi do share certain characteristics. They're both generally inflexible and single-minded.

Yes, especially since great-nephew Koutarou does not want to have his marriage arranged by said great-uncle. It's bad enough that he has to have LE supplements.

Are the LE supplements unpleasant to get or just an irritating chore to appease Taiga? Working under the assumption that getting LE no longer kills humans, of course.

Completely arranged, or ceremony stuff arrangements? It probably wouldn't be wise to tell Taiga to arrange his own marriage if he wants to arrange something so badly.

Koutarou thinks it's uncomfortable. He's also irritated because he's not enough Fangire to be dealing with this, dangit.

Taiga found a family willing to have their daghter marry someone 1/4 Fangire and expects Koutarou to go along.

Well, it is a good way to seek King's favor.

Even though it hasn't worked out well for Taiga in the past, hope springs eternal. And he'll love his family regardless, but extreme bias. He only wants what's best for his grand-nephew, and the best is obviously a Fangire.

Yes. Since Koutarou's fater/mother couldn't bother to marry a Fangire (but were raised Fangire themselves and were expected to marry Fangire), Kotarou has the onus.

How does the rest of Koutarou's family feel about it? Is Wataru around as another pseudo great-uncle? Not that Wataru can completely calm Taiga down, but. If Koutarou doesn't have someone else in mind, surely he can see that this is a good idea. Koutarou may also think arranged marriages are too old-fashioned.

Koutarou's human parent has decidedly mixed feelings. (The one with the Fangire blood is rather dead.) Mio and Wataru are aware of the fact that Koutarou is supposed to have been raised Fangire and would counsel Koutarou to accept Taiga's choice - if only to get Taiga out of his hair.

Or maybe at least meet the girl. Maybe they'd hit it off, and regardless it'll show Taiga that he's willing to try. Of course, if the first try doesn't work, Taiga may just try again.

Yes. Koutarou is not thrilled, but Mio and Wataru have cobvinced him to try. Mio with the idea that if Koutarou can make a show of being Fangire, he might fall out of Taiga's attention and might be able to avoid LE supplements.

I'm not sure there's a "fall out of Taiga's attention" as much as there is "satisfy Taiga that everything is Okay and Right and hope he's pleased enough not to worry that things are otherwise."

Does Koutarou have any cousins or anything? I assume if he did they'd be human, but it must be weird to be human and still kind of related to important Fangire.

He has one cousin that's in the same boat he is Taiga-wise, and one cousin that doesn't have to worry about the whole mess at all.

True, it's more like convincing Taiga that he can stop looking at Koutarou's life.

I've always felt that Taiga is more of a big-picture person who ends up micromanaging out of acute feelings of anxiety. Being satisfied that everything is going Right would ease his anxiety and therefore some micromanaging tendencies.

Family gatherings must be pretty bizarre.

Yes. Some of his cousins are very close to full Fangire (and he doesn't see much of them), he didn't have issues until Taiga started worrying about the next generation of Mio's family.
