Still alive + meme
Aug. 14th, 2015 06:23 pmWork's been keeping me pretty busy (as well as tech projects on the side). I'm still trying to catch up, but in the meantime, here's a meme, snagged from
edenfalling:
I currently have 397 works archived on AO3. Pick a number from 1 (the most recent) to 387 (the first thing I posted), and I'll tell you three things I currently like about it!

2. I still amuse myself with Minato's hormones. I know he's terribly confused about his reactions to Homura's body, but it's a cute bit of awkward.
3. The reference to Space Pirate Mito works pretty darn well considering Homura's state in the story.

1. Considering how fast I had to write this (it was a pinch hit from last year's Yuletide), I'm so glad that this meshes so well with the anime universe, given I usually write manga universe for this series.
2. I smile every time I read it because I made a reference that was pretty much only for me and it didn't seem to have disrupted the story. (It's a reference to "The Knives and the Scraped Knee".)
3. I love the relationship between Uzume and Chiho and I'm so glad it came across so well to readers who had never seen the series.

2. It is, to this day, one of my favorite fics for this couple.
3. Gosh, I love the ending.

2. I also, despite the actual grimness of the story, love reading it because it has the Bradley brothers playing cat and mouse with Cam, which is kind of fun in itself.
3. And of course, Cam has the good taste to own an Echo. :)
