So, I wanted to work on "As Opposed to Someone Else", but this idea didn't want to go away. It consolidated into this short ficlet. There's mentions of dubcon in here, a pregnancy, and some implied onesided Aran/Makoto.

The doctor had, kindly, told Kanon that she was pregnant. It wasn't something she wanted to hear. And it was definitely not something she wanted her older brother to hear. She'd quietly intervened when Aran wanted to sleep with Makoto, because she knew that even if she wasn't Makoto, she could convince him. And she did.
Because of what Aran was, what she had become, apparently she had not only become pregnant but stayed so in a way while she was an Eyecon. She didn't want to bear Aran's child, and she didn't want him to know that he had fathered a child on her. Makoto had tried to hide it from her, but she knew that Aran was obsessed with him. And to some extent, Kanon because she was Makoto's sister. She did not want him obsessed with her, based on how she'd seen him act around Makoto.
And she didn't want to be protected either. Which she was sure Makoto and the others would do if they knew. And yet she couldn't hide it forever.
She thought about abortion, even though it was technically illegal. She had no spouse, and she'd willingly slept with Aran, so it wasn't rape. It wasn't an economic hardship, and so far it wasn't endangering her health. But there were ways around all of those, she knew.
Kanon was sure she wouldn't want Aran as a spouse. He could be nice, but he could also be extremely cold. She did not want to be part of Ganma politics either. She would someday find a spouse of her own, one that loved her for her.
In the meantime, she would just have to keep Makoto from finding out, at least until it wasn't an issue anymore. And Aran could never know. Not with his personality, the way he acted. She was not a fighter, and she didn't want to have to be a fighter to save herself.
So she would smile, and she would pretend everything was all right, because if she didn't, everything would likely fall apart.
