estiroseI need the name of a jewelry finding so I can go buy one.
So, I am doing a very rough version of Alain's earring (from Kamen Rider Ghost). I'm not precisely trying for show-accurate - I'm using the same stretchy bracelet cord I'm using for some bracelets, the silver links will be replaced with black beads, the middle portion is going to be a random 8mm bead with the kind of eyes that go with hooks you find in some shirts and underclothes to form a "crown" of sorts, and the feather will be either whatever I can scrounge up in my local area or an artificial alternative. The part that goes on the ear is going to be a nice little cubic zirconia clamp-on/screw on earring because at least I have that if this fails.
The problem is that I'm trying to find out what the item on the feather is called. It's silver(ish), forms a slim, almost bell-shaped cone at the bottom, and has a loop at the top. A family member at least pointed me in the right direction but she didn't have a name for the thing. So, basically, I'm hoping someone knows earring parts and can aim me in the right direction.
ETA: I know that earrings are not usually made with bracelet cord, but I'm on a bit of a limited budget at this point. When I have funds, I want to redo it with standard metal earring metal parts.
