Ahh, this is a post I can actually comment about! I don't know if you're still in the fandom or what (and I never got into it in the first place), and I obviously don't know what languages you know, but I lived in Iceland for a short while and studied Icelandic, and now I live in Uppsala (the viking capital), so I have a bit of experience with Old Norse and viking/Nordic stuff and their culture and all that.
Reading Old Norse is a bit hard for me since I'm not the best at modern Icelandic either (there's really very little difference between them!) but I can always search in Swedish or ask a friend to help if necessary. So if you ever feel like you want better info for fics or something, even if it's just pictures or "did this even exist back then", just ask me!!
