Thoughts about my alt-Watarus.

One of the things I like about getting my own blog is having the feeling that I’m not spamming peoples’ flists. That being said, I will post this to DW… tomorrow.

So, I have way too many of them. Yet, I love each and every one.

Song was my first; a tired out Queen who hated what she did but hated pregnancy even worse. She’s always the grumbling, grumpy one in my stories, and I make no excuse for that. She’s a Wataru that’s given up hope and is just hanging on.

Innocent was Song, but much more… well… innocent. She didn’t even know about the Fangire or Queen when she became Queen; she just had to accept. That being said, she loves Taiga and everything, and she’s the voice of encouragement and reason where Song is the voice of doubt.

Ocean, aka Pancake, is a male Wataru that has a female Taiga. I made it ambiguous at first whether he was the same as KingofKing’s Wataru, but it turned out he was just from a parallel universe. He’s my going-along-with-it Wataru, the one who’s trying to carve out his life in the way he can, with his wife Kimiko.

Rook is my dear delusional one. He was, until recently, the one who didn’t believe that he was related to Taiga. Decades later, he does find out… but after a bit of consideration, and much cuddling from his King, he now has reconciled with the fact that Taiga is his brother… and it really doesn’t matter.

Trapped is my unfortunate one. He’s from a universe where the Fangire rule the world. He’s not fond of that, or about the fact that both his King and his Queen want to sleep with him, for different reasons. They’re settling down, kind of. But it’s hard for all of them.

Questing is King and has Taiga for Bishop. Taiga apparently makes an excellent Bishop, if he would only stop trying to get his little sister pregnant (which keeps her safe, in his twisted mind). Questing herself kind of has taken on the role of leader for the others, trying to make a better world for all of them.
