Random Cam POV
Nov. 10th, 2003 10:02 amTakes place during Ghetto Wear. Watch out for additions.
"Dude, you okay?" Hunter asked, as Cam groaned... in frustration, most likely.
"CyberCam's been on the loose again." Cam looked over from the computer console. "I had to do a restore from backup and I must have restored some of his previous autonomy by accident."
"Huh?" Hunter asked.
"He got out," Cam said, reverting to his habit of explaining things using only one-syllable words.
"So, what'd he do this time?" Hunter asked. He took a sip of water from the cup he was holding.
"Took the clerk at my favourite electronics store on a date," Cam said, crossing his arms.
"He what?" Hunter asked.
"Took the daughter of the owner of the electronics store," Cam said, gritting his teeth. "Pretending he was me, so I had to think fast and say I was his cousin."
"I take it CyberCam is no more," Hunter said. "At least, I hope so."
Cam shook his head. "I have a feeling I'll need him at Ops. I'll just have to prevent him from getting out again, that's all."
"You know, he wasn't supposed to go out." Hunter paused. "Did he do anything else besides date her?"
Cam shook his head. "Not that I can tell. And I *am* reprogramming him. The last thing I need is more problems."
"Gee, don't we all," Hunter said. "Yours are just weirder."
"Thanks," Cam muttered. "Anyway, what did you want?"
Hunter shrugged. "I was coming by and you sounded aggrivated."
"I had someone believe that I was dating her, because of CyberCam, and I think she's still in love with him."
"Hey, do I get a say in all this?" CyberCam said, materializing suddenly.
"No," Hunter and Cam chorused.
