This requires a tiny bit of explanation. It's my Paradise Lost
universe, transitioned into [profile] kamendressing. In this version, there's a bit of an incest warning.

In KD, I rp'd with another player in a post where this particular Wataru had stumbled into the Dressing Room (which resembles a hotel) because of stress in not being able to deal with being held captive as well as his brother mistaking sibling love for romantic - the Taiga of his world thinks that Wataru is his lover as well as his brother. Wataru doesn't feel the same way. So, he ends up in there, crying and eventually falling asleep on a couch. He's woken up by a female version of his brother, who doesn't understand why he doesn't want to live with and be taken care of by his brother. She is disgusted with the whole incest thing and advocates telling his brother that he's not quite in love with him *that* way, but that he belongs with him as families belong together. Eventually he gives up and returns home (but not without alarming her about her own Mio in the process). As he returns home, he's found by his Taiga. The story starts there.

Yanking Home

Wataru was yanked through the doorway by Taiga and squashed in a huge, tight hug by his older brother. "Thank goodness you're safe," Taiga said, leading him to the living room couch. "When I saw you disappear, I was worried something had happened to you." He kissed Wataru and ran a hand through Wataru's hair, as if not completely sure that he'd really gotten Wataru back.

"I'm all right," Wataru said. Of course, how he would convince Taiga of that, he wasn't sure. Taiga was always on the verge of panic whenever Wataru unexpectedly disappeared, and even at home Wataru sometimes found that Taiga had taken up a seat in his workshop while he was working.

Taiga ran a hand over Wataru's face. "You've been crying," he said. "You're probably dehydrated. Sit here, I'll be right back."

"Nii-san," Wataru said, but Taiga had disappeared into the kitchen. He didn't dare move, and he had to admit, he was a little thirsty. Even though he'd had some water when he'd been in that strange place, he had cried more than a little, finally relieved to be free.

Except when he'd encountered that version of his half-brother that was his half-sister. She'd been just as terrifying as his brother, but at least she hadn't been in love with him the way his brother was. Wataru didn't really want a sexual relationship with his brother, but he hadn't had much choice in the matter with Taiga's misinterpretation of things.

Taiga came back with a glass of water, handing it to Wataru. "Here, drink this," he said.

Wataru figured he didn't have much of a choice in the matter, given that Taiga was sitting next to him, watching him intently. He gradually sipped the entire thing down, much to Taiga's satisfaction, and it was soon follwed by several more glasses of water in a row, until Taiga was satisfied that his little brother wasn't dehydrated anymore.

"I'm sorry I didn't protect you," Taiga said. "I promise, Wataru, that I'll protect you better." He was holding onto Wataru, as if afraid he'd lose him - that he'd disappear again into that weird hotel-like place.

"It isn't your fault, Nii-san," Wataru said. "I don't know how I got there, but it wasn't your fault."

"I still should have found you sooner," Taiga said, as if he had any control over the matter.

"I'm fine, Nii-san," Wataru told him. He'd wished he'd been able to stay in that hotel-like world; but the female Taiga had been enough disincentive, and it looked like Taiga had been on the verge of finding him anyway. "Just tired and thirsty. There was a female version of you that tried to comfort me - in fact, she convinced me that it was possible to come home."

Taiga held him closer. "It's okay, Wataru," he said. "The ordeal is over. You found your way home."

"Nii-san would have found me anyway," Wataru pointed out to him. He hadn't wanted Taiga to find him, but find him - in a way - he had.

Planting a kiss to Wataru's forehead, Taiga kept holding him. "I would have," he admitted. "But you were still lost for two days. I thought I'd failed you...."

"Nii-san didn't fail me," Wataru said. "Nii-san couldn't have known."

"I could have lost my beautiful Wataru forever," Taiga said, seemingly ignoring Wataru's words. "I won't ever lose you again, I promise."

"Nii-san," Wataru said. He knew he was going to lose his bed, his bedroom again - Taiga surely wouldn't let him sleep in there where Taiga couldn't be sure that he wouldn't go missing once more. Personally, he wouldn't mind, but it suspected it would be even worse when Taiga found him and brought him back. At least Taiga thought it was all an accident.

He could only concentrate on the fact that he'd wanted to be away so badly when he'd been pulled in there.

"Mio's going to make your favorite food," Taiga said. "I'm going to go out and find you a really good human - well, one for both of us, really. And then we'll all sleep together tonight - in your bed, so you feel safe."

"I always feel safe with Nii-san," Wataru said, leaning more in the hopes that Taiga wouldn't change his mind. "But I'd be more comfortable in my bed, too."

"Good," Taiga said, pleased. "I'll leave you with Mio. I've called up someone who should be able to help if you fall in again like that, and we'll rescue you far faster this time. I promise you this, Wataru."

"Nii-san doesn't have to worry," Wataru said. "I'll be safe."

"In my sight," Taiga said, kissing him once more. "Or Mio's. Then I'll know you'll be safe."

Wataru only smiled while hoping that he'd find that place once more.
