It took me a few seconds to ask her tactfully when said employee fell to his death. We've had employers who lay off our employees, fire their employees, lay off their employees, and have employees never come back from lunch, but I've never had the sad duty of explaining that because of our policy, she has to put things in writing. Sans the dead employee.
Oh, and I just started my 3rd year at my call center.
