After taking all that time to chase Uchiyama Masato's appearance down as Rabbit Orphenoch in Kamen Rider Faiz/Phis/555 (screencaps here), I felt like ficcing.

Spoilers: Episode 24.

Summary: Kaido helps out another Orphenoch.
Kaido finally got a good glance at the kid that he'd rescued from the water. And it was a kid he'd rescued, a teenager, maybe seventeen or eighteen years old.
A kid that was an Orphenoch. Kaido wondered briefly if he was an original like Kiba and Osada, or a made one like himself. Not that it mattered, not that it mattered, he reminded himself silently.
He was an orphenoch now, and he'd teach the kid to be the same. Like Kiba had taught him, though Kiba was a hopeless idealist. Being human, indeed! That attitude was going to get Kiba killed one day, Kaido knew it.
The kid was waking up. Kaido turned his attention back to his charge, not that he'd ever not paid attention. "I'm awake," the kid said, clearly surprised to still be among the living.
"Yeah, you are," Kaido said, "And I'm here to help you."
The kid looked at him with big, wide eyes, and Kaido knew that he'd be fine.

Spoilers: Second half of the series. In particular, it reveals Ren's secret.
Rating: 8+
Summary: Ren is persistent.
It was his choice. His choice and his alone.
Ren knew that he was going to die. Knew that he was going to come to an untimely end. Die before his life was really begun.
So he ran.
Ran from America, ran from his friends and his teachers, ran to Japan where nobody would find him and nobody would bother him.
Ran to where he was a nobody in an amusement park, spending his last days having fun. Making things fun.
He was weakening, yes, he was tiring, yes, but he had to keep going and enjoy life to the fullest. Even if it meant fighting for his life.
It was why he'd been chosen as Ultraman's host, that persistience. And now he had even more reason to fight. To stave off death.
He smiled as he rode his bike.

Spoilers: Episode 13
Rating: 8+
Summary: Kageyama tries to understand.
Kageyama looked at the Zecter and its abandoned brace. Looked at it, almost willing it to bring its wayward host back. But Kagami Arata was gone, abandoning his Zecter and his troops in the name of a friendship that clearly wasn't reciprocated by his opponent.
But Kagami hadn't seen what Kabuto had done to Kageyama. Hadn't understood what damage he'd suffered inside and out. Had gone as far as to insult Yaguruma-san. He was amazingly ignorant and mislead.
TheBee had chosen him for a reason, however, and Kageyama had to respect that. Kagami in time would have cared for the troops, adapted to Yaguruma's Perfect Harmony, become a leader to envy.
And yet he hadn't understood. Hadn't understood what becoming TheBee's host, TheBee's Chosen One meant. He was a lost cause, he had to be.
Which, for Kageyama, left him only one thing to do. "I'm in charge now," he said, straightening up and looking at his remaining troops. He led them out, to safety and to hospitals, so they'd live, fight another day.
Behind him, the Zecter buzzed its approval and flew off.
