Nano day 9, sort of

estiroseAnother low wordcount day. On the other hand, I think I can break the 20,000 word barrier tomorrow. I only have to write just over 2000 words. 17,979 for today.

For those who have been waiting for me to consolidate Chapter 2, I have. You can now read Chapter 2 in two parts on Inkwell: Part 1, and Part 2.
One of the problems I'm running into in this chapter is dealing with Yaguruma. Not that he himself is a hard one to write, but the change in setting for the storyline decimated his canon plot reason for losing his Zecter to Kagami. Plus a lot of his reason for being in the story. And I don't think the fellow will have certain events happen to him.
Right now, in his storyline, he's being Kagami's mentor. Or going to be Kagami's mentor. My idea is that they reassigned him to Shadow to see how a real host acts so that he can handle Tendou easier. Not that it will, because Tendou is Tendou and will be Tendou. I think that Yaguruma's going to have to not take to Tendou in some way, but I'm trying to figure out how that happens. That's what's slowing this chapter up. I think Yaguruma will be trying to take Tendou under his wing as he's taking Kagami, but Tendou is too proud to have that happen.
I'll have to see how it goes. It definitely is interesting.
