And right in the middle of NaNoWriMo... I need to take a small break from my characters.
Therefore, I bring those of you familiar with Kamen Rider Blade the next part in the "Perfect" series, "Perfect Dance". The "Perfect" series focuses on the 11 onscreen high-level Undead of Kamen Rider Blade.
Note that I don't think Capricorn Undead had his human name given in the series. Wikipedia gives it as Yazawa, and so I use that here.
Title: Perfect Dance
Fandom: Kamen Rider Blade
Author: Estirose
Rating: 8+
Spoilers: episodes 20-21
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Toei and TV-Asahi, not me.
Summary: Yazawa dances everywhere. Including into battle.

Perfect Dance

c 2006
It was like a dance, really. The kind Yazawa liked, all wild and electric and in rhythm with the music that played on his headphones.
He'd hunt the Riders, one by one. He'd heard they were powerful, a threat to the Battle Fight, not that he cared. The fun was what kept him in, the knowledge that he was powerful and nobody could beat him.
Okay, maybe one of the other high-level Undead would give him a run for the money, but not these human Riders. He was smarter than they were, more powerful than they were, and they just didn't know it yet.
That's why he danced. Because he could. Because he knew that it was a powerful day, a good day, and it was his turn in the spotlight. Even the idiotic Centipede Undead's attack hadn't ruined his mood.
Blade was first; the Rider that used the Ace of his suit to transform was said to be powerful. But everybody had weaknesses, even Yazawa. Yazawa wasn't stupid either. When the other high-level Undead had told him what was going on, he hadn't trusted them at first. But he'd looked, and he'd seen, and he believed. So he wasn't stupid. That wasn't his weakness.
Then Garren. Garren wasn't said to be as much of a challenge. Certainly not up to Yazawa's level. But Yazawa knew better than to ignore someone that was weak. They might turn out to be a threat later, if ignored.
Chalice. Well, Chalice was his own kind. Part of the Battle Fight, dangerous, but not human. Yazawa knew his power, and Yazawa wasn't stupid enough to confront him. Best leave him be, let someone else defeat him.
Leangle. The newest of the Riders. Weaker than Garren, weaker than Blade. Once the other two humans were out of the way, he shouldn't be much of a threat. Weak-willed little human, whomped by his Ace, Yazawa would just have to think of some enjoyable way to dispose of him.
But first Blade. And this, too, could be fun. Yazawa was a firm believer in mixing business with pleasure. Mixing fun in with the fight. He'd dance, and Blade would die. It was as simple as that.
Yazawa danced to the rhythm, and laughed.
