Since my brain has gone off again to AU Kiva, I present to you the two random meetings fics I got requests for, and a totally random fic that may or may not be expanded on depending if my brain ever lets me. (Dear brain: Eric, Trip and Mikoto/Umeko nao, pls?)
"I know it has to be somewhere!" Ethan proclaimed, almost throwing up his hands in defeat. Oh, wait. He was a Power Ranger. Scratch that defeat.
"It probably is." Trip leaned forward and keyed a command into the desktop near where Ethan's laptop was sitting. "See. There."
Ethan looked over. "You mean, you just found the key to decipher the note that'll get us to level 89?"
Trip broke out in a shy smile. "I think I did," he admitted. "We should decipher the note now."
"Hell, yeah!" Ethan exclaimed, getting settled once more. Between him and Trip, they should win the championship easily. Just wait!

"You sure this is death?" Richie asked, looking at the stranger. It looked like a country club to him.
"Pretty sure, yes." Chris - that's the name the other guy had introduced himself as - looked at the world beyond.
"Death is a country club?" Richie asked again. "I thought it was like pearly gates or something."
Chris shrugged. "Maybe it's what you make of it."
"Death is a country club. Great." Richie looked over at Chris. "Do you play golf?"
Chris shook his head. "You?"
"Nope. Guess we'll learn."
"Guess we will."
Together, the two strode in the direction of the club house.

"Kiriya...." The older man looked at Yuuto with some concern, and Yuuto had to wonder where Deneb was, and why he was stuck here with some madman who thought he was somebody else.
"My name's not Kiriya." He tested his ankle; definitely swollen, with nobody but this guy in sight. "It's Sakurai Yuuto."
The man smiled enigmatically. "I'm Hibiki." Yuuto noted the lack of given name, or surname, or whatever, and decided to pass on asking the older man which it was.
Maybe if he ignored the man, he'd go away, and Deneb would return. Or maybe he was imagining this whole thing. "Right," he said to himself. Ignore it was.
Hibiki grasped his ankle firmly, much to Yuuto's annoyance. Who did the man think he was? Okay, apparently someone named Kiriya.
He had to be imagining the whole thing. But his ankle still hurt.
