Fic: Protective Man (Kamen Rider Kiva)
Jun. 13th, 2008 08:52 amI'm strangely drawn to Jiro/Yuri, even though I'm not sure Jiro is good for Yuri.
Title: Protective Man
Author: Estirose
Fandom: Kamen Rider Kiva
Rating: 8+
Spoilers/Info/Pairing: Spoilers episode 13; Jiro/Yuri
Summary: Jiro intends to protect Yuri, for his own reasons.
Jiro had patience. After all, he would live much longer than any human, would see things far beyond what the humans could see. Even being the last of his kind had not put a dent in that patience, for what good would it do if he got killed?
Well, at least he was patient for a Wolfen. He had gotten Yuri to fall for him, gotten her to disbelieve Otoya and his inconvenient truths - not that it had been that hard - and gotten her, finally, to get into his bed.
Of course, she would hate him after the night was over. Once she was his mate, he intended to keep her out of danger even more than he was, since she would - either that night, or some other night - be carrying his children. Yuri was strong, a fighter, she would defend their young to the best of her ability. He was sure of that. But he was stronger, and as long as he was there, he'd use that strength for her.
The others would do the same, though not as intensively. He knew that Ramon was making his plans, though he had yet to find a human woman to seduce. He had thought about suggesting a human around Ramon's apparent age, but decided that Ramon was old enough to figure it out himself.
"Jiro," Yuri said. It was her soft tone, not the sharp one she used on fools such as Kurenai Otoya. She was still a woman, after all. And while the sharp tone a means of defense, she didn't need those where she was. Not with him. Not with such an important event about to take place.
He reached out his hand, took hers, and guided her to the bed. It was time.
