Probably this poll isn't of much interest to anyone who didn't read "Apart from the Ocean". But this is me; I'm doing a poll anyway.

[Poll #1220216]
And as a bonus, in-the-comments question: How do you view Aya and Kuramae-san? Is one more sympathetic than the other?

I was kind of torn on the last two questions. For the first, it seems to be most likely to be one-sided on Kuremae-san's end, but I also see at least SOME bits of feeling there on Aya's end. So I chose the "both trying to avoid it" option.

The latter one I could see both ways. I understand why Ramon would be worried, but I can also easily see why Aya would want him to butt out.

As for your final question, probably Aya because of how much life-changing stuff she's being forced to go through. Kuramae-san gets a bit of sympathy from me for various reasons, but nothing he's doing/going through is as huge as what she is.
