Title: The Beach Hidden In The Hanged Man
Author: Estirose
Fandom: Kamen Rider Kiva
Spoilers: 38 onward, especially 44-45.
Rating 8+
Summary: Taiga is not pleased about recent events.
Taiga glared as Bishop ran away. What Bishop had done was intolerable, executing the Queen for supposed wrongdoing – an accident on Mio’s part, he was sure. Mio was the girl he had loved, his perfect Queen, a woman he hoped to have by his side for centuries. And to make both himself and Wataru think that Wataru was responsible for his death was… unforgivable. His little brother might have been confused about what species he was, but he should have seen that Wataru would have done nothing to harm Mio, had he been able to abort that kick, Taiga was sure he would have.
He didn’t know where his little brother had run off to, but Wataru would resurface in time and when he did, Taiga would tell him what had happened. Whatever Wataru’s other faults were, he was not responsible for Mio’s death. Bishop was, and when Taiga caught up to him, he would pay.
And then he’d get Wataru back. He’d have to. Eventually he’d find another Queen, Mio’s successor would awaken, but in the meantime, his younger brother was the only family that he had left that he’d acknowledge.
There might be a few fights, a few beatings, and such, but eventually, Wataru would be the younger brother he’d always wanted, and Taiga’s world would be whole again.
