estiroseThe main character of my aborted 2nd NaNo novel has informed me that now that I am writing 250,000 words next year, I can very well rewrite what there was of her novel.
This is a genderbend Wataru, but I think the girl's going to get a new human name. Though I know I'm keeping in at least three canon characters (Oomura, Miyazawa Hitomi, and Taiga), so I don't know yet. It's just that... she's a grim character, and other than sharing the general Queen's Gambit background, that's all she has common with Wataru.
She still is pissed at Taiga, though.
One Elder, Dawn, wants a bigger role. And she insists she knows about the girl (who I'll call "Clockwork" - her true name is "Sea in the Leg of a Clockwork Doll") being Queen. I keep telling her it makes no sense for her to not tell Taiga where his Queen is.
Taiga wants his Queen very much, thank you. Clockwork wants him dead. I'm not writing a romance novel, dangit!
And on top of this, I have something I want to rewrite.....
