As my flist probably knows, I adore Stardew Valley! One of my prompts this year was "Maru and Penny fall in love and the farmer decides to give them the farm and move in with Maru's parents!" (Except way more coherent, go me.) This is 10k of Maru and Penny falling in love, Demetrius and Pam not reacting at all well to it, and The Farmer (after an event) giving them her cabin and then ending up loving work as Demetrius' assistant! My Madness treat! This year, the Mods relaxed things so that you could write fic in Madness that was in a fandom that you knew your recipient enjoyed even if they didn't request it this year.
This year some adorable person read my mind and gave me the Fatal Frame universe semi-fix it with bonus Kirie that I've subconsciously wanted ever since the release of Maiden of Black Water! Miku comes to see Kirie, there's implied Kei/Miku with Miu in there (those familiar with Fatal Frame will know who Miu's father in canon is and why I'm so freaking glad for that particular fix). Miu is adorable and gets to meet Kirie! It's so adorable all around and I so wanted this to be longer and/or have more fics in this universe!
(I did write a fic where my OC Amakura Tomoe met Kirie and Mafuyu and ever since Maiden of Black Water came out wanted Miu to meet her aunt, and my mystery author so understood that and gave me the ficlet of my dreams!)

(The canon itself is very interesting and has people living millenia and playing lots of American Football with strange and crazy rules. Much worth the read!)
