I wrote four fics for Remix Revival/Remix Revival Madness! I wrote in Zero Escape and Stardew Valley for my assigment and pinch hit, and for Madness, I wrote in Miraculous Ladybug and Zero | Fatal Frame.

This was my assignment! I wanted to write a much different fic than the original fic (morphogenesis' "Man of three fears: integrity, faith, and crocodile tears"), but my muse would not cooperate, so I ended up with a rearrangement of the original fic instead. Try as I might, I couldn't convince my brain to do something useful. Still, I like what I wrote and found the process rather interesting. ETA: A lot of what I did was focus more on Junpei than the mystery itself or Akane. I love dealing with the whole morphogenetic field issue with Junpei and the Junpeis that might be in some other universe.

I picked up a last-minute pinch hit! Apparently my brain got a bit more creative with this one. The original (Serie11's "Rumour Has It") was about a rumor getting out of hand about a fish, and I went with the farmer in question running about trying to stop the rumor from getting out of hand. And she almost succeeds! Almost. I had fun with this one, and am seriously asking for Abigail/Female Farmer (or Abigail/agender Farmer) at Yuletide and/or Fandom Stocking.

I planned to remix this fic before I grabbed the pinch hit, and so once I was done I tackled this one. It's a remix of AlexSeanchai's "falls the shadow". I wanted to see if I could write the characters, and I think I succeeded! (Though I should probably not be watching cooking shows while trying to write titles.) I tried to make it a bit more hopeful and a little less dark, but I'm not sure it succeeds without access to the original.

I decided to try something else I'd never done before, which was to remix a remix! Since pettycoat was allowing remixes of remixes, I ended up tackling a remix of "No Stone Unturned", which was a remix of my "The Stones of Home". It is more a sequel remix than anything else, where Sae finds out where her sister has been and a little about Yae's life without a sister. I loved writing good!Sae and I love dealing with the Promise ending (though Shadow Festival remains my favorite ending of all the endings of the series).
