Wii Fit Lotus Focus amusement
Sep. 8th, 2021 08:17 pmSo, there is a game on the Wii Fit called "Lotus Focus". You sit on the balance board for as long as you can (up to 3 minutes) while you hear someone walking around you and a butterfly flying around.
Guess what other mini-game I've played that requires you holding steady while things creak, footsteps are heard, and butterflies fly around, on top of jump scares? Yep, Project Zero 2: Deep Crimson Butterfly's mini-game mode! Compared to that, staying still on a balance board for three minutes is easy!

Date: 2021-09-09 06:24 pm (UTC)Instead of the mode in Fatal Frame I and II where you had the ghost battles, the Wii edition has a kind of a haunted house mode. The easy version is "don't tremble while you go through a variety of environments from various Fatal Frame games", the next hardest is "photograph dolls/a certain ghost", and the hardest is "there is a ghost chasing you, don't let the ghost catch you" (I think one was Sae; the other was Blinded from the first game.)
I actually prefer the ghost battles from the PS2, but I like the rerelease a lot for the main game (other than one mechanic) because some of the new mechanics plus one of my favorite (though very bittersweet) endings in a game ever.
