estiroseYeah, Twitter failed me or I was looking in the right place, but apparently chances are good that FanxyRed is not coming back. Lu Keran (K/K Lu) just released her first solo, Lin Fan (Marco/Marco Lin) is active with Sunrise Club probably for a while longer (though she has been releasing singles), An Junxi (Roy) is releasing another solo, and I just found out from Instagram that Shawn, their reclusive fourth member, just retired from the industry last month due to health reasons. So, I'll still be able to listen to my favorite androgynous Chinese singers, just... not as a group.
(I mean, it is possible that we'll get a reassembled FanxyRed of only K, Roy, and Marco once Sunrise Club disbands... after all, FFC-Acrush (the previous version of FanxyRed) gained and lost members, and FanxyRed was supposed to be a 5-person group before their fifth had to drop out for health reasons, but I don't think so.)
