Light is on for: Anybody
What's in the Bowl? Short fic!
Let Me Know: A fandom, prompt, and character.
My list of fandoms I can write in got kind of big, so I've listed them in a different post. I write in a variety of live-action tv series (mostly of the SF/Fantasy bent or Toku/AmeriToku), some Disney movies (Mulan and The Little Mermaid), and a variety of video games (mostly cozies/farming - Stardew Valley, Fantasy Life, Coral Island, My Time at Portia/Sandrock etc, but I also have an enduring love for the Project Zero/Fatal Frame games and I just finished Stray).
Other info: My shipfic tends to be fairly gen-ish and I can't write porn to save my life.

Date: 2024-10-15 12:36 am (UTC)I'd love a fic centering Hajime in Kamen Rider Blade. For a prompt I was thinking something introspective. It could be about anything mid or even post canon if you'd like. Feel free to go with whatever direction strikes you. :D
Thank you so much and have a Happy Halloween and a good month overall!
Looking from Destruction (Kamen Rider Blade, Hajime)
Date: 2024-10-31 03:58 am (UTC)Hajime really doesn't understand humans, though he tries. He is destruction, the natural destruction of this world and everyone around him, and yet with this form, humans either subconsciously avoid him or cannot seem to avoid being around him. It's a contradiction that confuses him.
And he himself is starting to become a contradiction. He should not need shelter, or food, or kindness, but he is comfortable with all three, especially together. He has done little for the humans around him, but they welcome him all the same.
Kenzaki especially confuses him. A human who has walked into the Battle Fight, who takes on battles that have nothing to do with him, and yet has tried to be friendly. It is not unknown for Undead to form temporary alliances, two against one until they finally have to turn against each other - and yet, he suspects, that is not what Kenzaki wants. He genuinely seems to want to make a permanent alliance, where the final two would not turn against each other.
And yet, he is not Undead. He is not a member of this fight. If he managed to seal all the others, if Hajime was the only one left, he would destroy the world that Kenzaki cherishes.
But Kenzaki does not know that, and Hajime does not care to tell him. He will take this temporary alliance of sorts because he does not feel he has a choice. Human Undead has always been a troublesome being, and tries to pull him more towards humanity than he really wants to be.
So he tries to reign in his destruction, tries to get Kenzaki to let go, tries to save a place that is his but isn't his. He must make a choice, must try to understand, and he may never do so.
