17) What’s the best piece of writing advice you’ve ever gotten?
Um. Good question. I’m not sure I remember.
18) What genres have you written in?
Science fiction/fantasy, for the most part. Both aimed at adults and YA.
19) Do you write long stories, short stories, or both? What’s challenging about writing a particular story length?
I tend to write medium-length fics. Not long, not short. For one thing, I can’t really write really short nowadays.
20) Is your writing generally plot- or character-driven? Why?
Character, for the most part, I think. I like plot-driven, too.
21) Do you ever participate in writing challenges? Which ones?
A fair amount. I have Yuletide, Remix Redux, and Finish-a-thon as my new regulars, I expect to be participating in PR Remix, and I’m in the middle of my second prompt-based challenge for the DW comm Parthenon.
