While I wasn't looking, apparently Tecmo and Nintendo announced a fifth Fatal Frame game. And a movie that's based on the franchise but not any specific title (we've been waiting for a movie for years and years....). There aren't very many details, but as you can imagine there are a lot of very, very excited Fatal Frame fans.
ETA: And another novel. And a comic! Who knows if any of this will be released outside Japan, but at least something's happening! It's been about 5-6 years since IV, the last new console-based game was released to Japan only. (The Wii remake of II is newer, but it's a remake....)
On my end, I managed to finish out Monday (goshdang it work), had a good weekend, and got the first draft of my Remix story done. Need a beta on that, but too tired to worry about that for a day or two.
