estirose* I have gotten my Remix Redux assignment and chosen my fic! I'll definitely need a beta for this one, as I don't want to screw up certain things. It's not in the fandom that I matched on, but I was reading through their stuff and this one just screamed "remix me!". I just hope that I can do it justice.
* I also hope that my remixer didn't tear their hair out trying to find a fic they liked. I mean, I have a lot in some PR seasons but if you only write Samurai and Megaforce (or Lost Galaxy or Lightspeed Rescue) you might be SOL. I'm kind of hoping that they're familiar with tokusatsu series, because that gives them more options.
* Doink signups just closed, and so I'm waiting for my assignment there. It could be Final Fantasy I, II, III, or IV. I'll see when I get it.
* In RL, somehow managing to stay sane despite Work Upper Management. I have a midterm next Thursday, and I really need to understand how to calculate/do the journal entries for bonds, stocks, and other forms of long-term liabilities.
* Also in RL, some twit has managed to park in my spot. There's not much I can do this weekend, other than write them a howler. For those not familiar, I live in a condo complex that was once apartments. We have two parking lots with assigned spaces for each resident. If you have more than one car, you have to find someone willing to rent their spot to you or you're going to have to find other arrangements. Unfortunately, since my space is empty 98% of the time because I don't drive and don't own a car, some people think they can just park there for more than an hour or two without asking me. I'm not allowed to post a sign stating that this is my space, and I'm afraid that if I put my (future) bike in there, it would get smashed. So, I'm hoping that they move it before I have to involve our association or get it towed.
