I just tagged about 40+ spam posts on Tumblr mostly under Kamen Rider Ghost, but also under Drive and Gaim. At least I think I also tagged spam in the Gaim tag. I got one on the Dino Charge tag. I wish that Tumblr would block all shorteners like goo.gl just so that these spambots would have one less tool to use.

I worry about being considered a crank, because I do so much reporting on this stuff. Or being barred from spam reports when all I want to do is have a readable feed on some of my tags.

ETA: Yes, I know there's Tumblr Savior, but that doesn't fix the problem when it comes to reading tags on my phone. I'd rather report them than let the spambots win.

Apparently if you keep reporting spam/TOS guidelines a lot, they start wondering if you're revenge reporting. So every so often I drop them a report saying "I've marked a lot of spam, because of x".

I must admit that I didn't even know that Tumblr had a spam report feature. (I am really pessimistic about Tumblr and caring about its users, unfortunately.)

It does! However, some of the spamfighters that I've run across caution people not to report tons and tons of spam or they think that you're revenge reporting, or something like that. (It's in the three dots on the non-mobile dashboard.)

Yes, and apparently I'm not the only one doing it for these tags, because they were clear when I got home this evening. :)
