The RIAA website has no snailmail addresses.

I guess they're so busy terrorizing teenagers and clueless moms to bother doing that.

Or maybe they know how much they're hated and took it off their website for that reason.

(I'd send an email to that effect, but I want this to end up with someone who's not a CSR, because I believe CSRs get enough flack as it is for stuff they don't have much to do with.)

It's not just one thing. It's about 17,000 things. 17,000 lawsuits, a lot of them for *teenagers*. This gives me echoes of SCO vs IBM, and in this case, the suehappy plaintiffs are picking on people who don't have IBM's resources.

Meet Patti Santangelo. She's one of the 17,000. (http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2005-12-25-download-suit_x.htm)

Did you hear that there are a couple of mothers that are fighting back? They're saying "fine, sue us. Prove in a court of law that I downloaded illegal music on my machine!" One of them doesn't even own a computer I think.
