estiroseI'm nattering on about NaNoWriMo and the Finish-a-thon, so I've lj-cut both, as well as one icon I'm posting.
I've found a title for my NaNoWriMo novel, and it'll be "Discovering the Sun". I'm starting to plot it out now. I found this method called the "Snowflake Method for Writing a Novel", and I'll see if it's useful. In the meantime, I'm rewatching episodes, picking out some things, and trying to write episode summaries.
This will be set up as a slash piece set in the Kamen Rider Kabuto. The idea is to write it so that people who aren't familiar with the series can get into it, assuming the reader doesn't mind reading slash. (How mild or not this will be is as yet unknown.)

estinano. This feed will pick up in November when I'm actually writing the novel, and I'll repost it then for interested parties. This feed does have some entries in it now, because I have started on notes and episode summaries.

I did the Finish-a-thon last year, but I didn't finish my story due to RL hitting me hard. (Plus some embarrassment when I mixed up the turn-in date, something I hope to avoid this year by subscribing to one of the places where I would expect to find a reminder.) If I do it this year, I know what plot bunnies are going to be brought up:
1. Different Assignments, Same Idea (Time Trax/Power Rangers Time Force)
I know Beth wants me to finish it, I'll see if being voted for will bring my muses back.
ETA: I might not add this one, though, because I have a feeling that people might vote for it because they've at least heard of/will admit to watching Time Trax, whereas they won't admit to watching PR, and the KR ones might be a bit too obscure.
2. Kuroonningen (PRDT)
This one keeps not getting done, and I'd like to see if the finish-a-thon inspires me to do it, because stories about/heavily featuring Anton Mercer are rather rare.
3. Dust to Dust (Kamen Rider Faiz/Phis/555)
Even though this one is heavily OC-based (because, like my story "Ghetto Wear", it's the setting shown through an outsider's eyes), I want to write it because it would be neat to write a story about an Orphenoch that's not a Lucky Clover one or one of Kiba's people.
4. Losing Touch (PRDT)
This one I really need to work on. I really shouldn't be neglecting it (especially since it is, bizarrely enough, nominated for an award....), but I have. Maybe this will make me work harder at it.
5. Unwanted Wings (Kamen Rider Kabuto)
This is the one most likely to be finished, finish-a-thon or not (I have a suspicion that I need to chuck part 5 and rewrite it with Yaguruma instead of Kageyama), but I'm tossing it in here anyway.
ETA: 6. Webbed In (Kamen Rider Blade)
Another one I'd like to work on. This may replace "Different Assignments, Same Idea" on the list, and that one might just be its own little finish-a-thon in December or January, for the reasons I mentioned in 1 above.
And if there's any other unfinished fics or plot bunnies I forgot, feel free to mention them here. :)
