Date: 2007-05-31 01:17 am (UTC)SA/LJ is seriously tone deaf about the handling of, well, just about everything. Even when there may be a defensible reason for something, they invariably execute it in the most offputting, customer-angering way possible. This is no different.
And I fully expect the same ultimate response: "tough shit."
Oh, they won't say it in so many words. They'll sugar coat it and dip it in honeyed words, but the advertisers are firmly in the driver's seat. Mere journalists are a resource, not customers.
