Kiva ep 8 raw thoughts

Here are some rather spoilery thoughts for episode 8.


* So, Bashaa/Ramon makes his appearance in 1986, and talks to Garulu/Jiro. He definitely knows Jiro's not human. Bashaa is definitely an echo of Ryuutaros - I was having Ryuuta flashbacks pretty much every time he opened his mouth to speak. Let's hope he's not quite as... insane as Ryuuta.

* Jiro/Garulu definitely needs to stop killing people who drink coffee. Though it is interesting that he parallels the main story of 2008 where the Fangaire is killing humans who eat the food.

* Speaking of food, that's definitely some flammable sauce! It didn't take much to set the violin afire. I have to wonder if it's a clue and the Bloody Rose actually uses blood as a varnish. Given what happens when it sounds, I have to wonder if so, if it's Wataru's and/or his parents' blood in there.

* I want to know how far across the city Wataru ran with the sauce. It makes sense that the Fangaire found him - partly because he could track the humans that had eaten, much less the sauce. Plus, Wataru must have been quite a sight!

* Megumi's still not happy with Nago putting Wataru in danger.

* Shizuka is definitely jealous of Megumi. She definitely didn't want Wataru dating her. (And she's not above eavesdropping.)

* Shizuka obviously is used to Kivat flying about. Megumi, on the other hand, doesn't notice him at all.

* It looks like we get some of Nago's backstory this week.

Next week, we get Murikami (?), sans the roses, and Nago goes to the next level.

I want to know how far across the city Wataru ran with the sauce. It makes sense that the Fangaire found him - partly because he could track the humans that had eaten, much less the sauce. Plus, Wataru must have been quite a sight!

Oh, that gives me a silly image in my mind. Plus, Megumi with a cooked fish in her mouth? Anyone would want to know WTF was going on just by looking at them. :D
